+ Message from the Program Coordinator I am honored to be the Program Coordinator for the Denver HIV Resources Planning Council. In this capacity, I provide oversight of all Council activities and operations, ensuring that we comply with the federal Ryan White Act requirements. In addition, I serve as liaison to the community, other HIV-related organizations, other planning councils and committees and the Denver Office of HIV Resources. My background includes other positions of advocacy for people living with HIV/AIDS. I maintain strong relationships with community partners, collaborators, primary care providers and key referral staff. Beyond the scope of my official job responsibilities, I engage in political and community activities to do all I can to influence social change and improve the quality of life for people living with HIV/AIDS, providing a voice for the community I serve. Last year, I was honored to be invited to Washington, D.C. to advocate Colorado-specific minority HIV issues at the Congressional level.
